Hi folks sorry I know this has been mentioned before but can’t just seem to find a definite answer, took n/s mirror off to do a little job refitted it and now neither mirror folds everything else on mirrors works but no fold, checked fuse ok,can’t find a live at relay, switch seems to ring out between pin 4-8 so assume this is working any help would be very much appreciated .

Hi nodge thanks for replying I have checked the 10 amp fuse in drivers side fuse box I’m only aware of this one are there any others I’m missing

Drivers side fuse box, looks like fuse 3 at 15A is heaters. Fuses 15 and 16 are both 10A and feed mirror controls.

Right they’re working again but it’s baffled me , disconnected battery left ten mins reconnect by this time it’s getting dark noticed clock not working and Rev counter stopping at 750 rpm also no interior light so checked fuse for light it’s blown replaced and everything works as normal like I say it’s baffled me but all seems ok now thanks for all your helpful suggestions

Right they’re working again but it’s baffled me ,

Simple, fuse 16 as mentioned above is for the mirror retraction and the interior light. It has a permanent feed even when key out. Possible that you let a wire touch the car when working on the mirrors?

Cheers Andy I think I just looked at the mirror fuse and assumed it controlled retraction as well thanks for clearing that up I assume clock and rev counter must go through that fuse as well although the Rev counter worked it just stopped at 750rpm when I stopped engine
