Just had a look on Screwfix and yes the lengths you want are v short for that diameter.
Also none were stainless.:(:(:(

I will get a coat of gloss on them tomorrow. I can then reduce the height of the tower and move it to either side of the bay-windows to do the walls (and clear the blocked gutter on the RH side).
The under-gable boarding needs a scrape/key and re-paint. Herself wants it BLACK this time (and you know what they say ;)). I am running out of time. The tower hire ends Monday PM. :eek:

Often a problem conveying scale in a picture. You need an object like a yuman being to relate the size of it all to. You could try getting up high someplace and using a wide angle lense on your digital SLR.
Well that's what I'd do cept I don't think i have such a lense. Never used the one i had for my film camera much!
If you iz cleverer than me you might be able to do one of thoses stitch-it-together panorama picutres. I've never managed to work out how to do it.
Pop over to the Photography Thread and ask all the brainy buggres there, I would!
Then put em up sos we can all see em!:):):):):)
