Someone pointed out that my defender front end shouldnt be noticeably lower than the rear, checked the coil springs and look like they've seen better days. Was thinking about a 2inch lift (as apparently i dont need to change anything else apart from spring / shock) but i've also read that this ruins the ride on road - what are peoples experiences & recommendations? I generally use the 110 for Greenlaning & road trips.

Lifting the suspension will raise the centre of gravity and negatively impact the dynamics of the vehicle. Unless you are running a big wheel tyre combination and need more space for articulation, I would not recommend doing so. My opinion is that anyone who claims that their vehicle handles better with lift had knackered dampers and/or springs and replacing these with new longer items to achieve the lift has just fixed that!
