Who you getting em off, Screwfix? Or Boltfix?:D:D:D:D:D
And why do you need them fully threaded, shurely a shank would be ok through your wood?
Eye need some M12 x90mm and M6x 80mm. Can't get the M12 local so need ter order them from iron mongary direct. But their pic only shows part fred so if I can't find the right lemf then I will need ter cut em short. A full fred would be handy if that wur ter appen.

Day 4 of Scaffold-tower-torture is complete; and so is the Gable End (almost).
I have put 2 coats of the required paints on all of it ...except for the 2 new wooden trimming pieces I had to wood-butcher this morning to replace their rotted-away predecessors.
I will get a coat of gloss on them tomorrow. I can then reduce the height of the tower and move it to either side of the bay-windows to do the walls (and clear the blocked gutter on the RH side).
The under-gable boarding needs a scrape/key and re-paint. Herself wants it BLACK this time (and you know what they say ;)). I am running out of time. The tower hire ends Monday PM.

Today I has mostly been making repairs and roof strengthening on the SIL's garage roof. A window is rotten and falling out (replacing it was supposed to be the job to be done) and the muppets who built the garage set 4 of the rafters on top of the window frame. So when the window falls out the roof is gonna collups. Got some timber from wicks (not bad stuff) but the coach bolts on me shopping list turned out to be made in chiner, no thank you :eek: and got some threaded rod instead. And got the job started, should be done in a couple of days. And SIL bought me fish n chips n mushy peas for lunch :D. Enjoy yer weekends everyone.

I am still searching the house for the shredder's replacement blades. One would think it not possible to lose things in such a limited space. I am a bit reluctant to spent another small fortune as I am sure the 'lost' ones would turn up as soon as the new ones arrive..
JUST found 'em. :):):):):):):):):) So that has saved me a little over £90.

Shamefull i know but i bought a freelander for my wife....wore the front tyres away, wouldnt turn tight corners, leaked water into footwells, rear window got stuck, ended up being front wheel drive as i wasnt sure it was supposed to handle like crap even though the vcu checked out ok, then to top it off lost 2k in 6 months when i sold the bag of ****e on....

speaking as a 110 owner the above sounds as if it was trying really hard to be a proper land rover- leaking into footwell ,wouldn't turn tight corners and windows getting stuck--- are you certain it was a Freelander sounds like it could have been a defender to me
