Freelander 1 Roof panels

Well I have finally found one, 2006 TD4 93k and just had new clutch and tyres. Pick it up on Saturday.

First question is that it has got metal panels in the roof where most I have seen have glass panels, is this something that can easily be swapped over?

If it's a FL1 Hardback? Then you can swap the removable roof panels for glass. Have you checked the RFL costs, as I'm sure some later FL1s are £560.

Wow quite expensive then, trip to the scrappy I think.

Are the glass panels all the same or would they need to come from a face lift model?

Have a set of glass panels from pre and post face lift. Pm if interested please.

Would you be able to have a look and see if there is any difference in the fittings on them please?

For reference they look identical. Pre and post face lift lift out roof panels.
