Are you able to point me in the right direction? I'm still quite new when it comes to nanocom and also to becm so quite expect I've done something wrong.
Becm was awake when i plugged the nano in, i could here a relay click somewhere when i went into becm settings but the dash didn't come to life like it did on the previous attempt

Never mind that , what the **** is a P38?
I know E45 helps with chaffing, and a P45 and a P60, can’t remember which one is the good one, I’m guessing P38 is the cream issued to hookers that have been made redundant - Alan ?

Sorry for lack of contribution but have been reading Romanrobs posts and have been laughing too much to type.

Dont no wether it works or not but I’m sure the none believers could go on the nanocom forum for answers

Pete, this is a copy and paste from bbs's forum for nanocom, body control unit:
An immobilized BECM means that you cannot access the BECM at all. No diagnostic communications are allowed and in order to mobilize it again you need to either enter the EKA code by pressing the FOB remote key that will send the EKA code or by manually entering it on the driver's door using the key

You do talk some rubbish. You don't have a clue.

I have no EKA issues. Never have. Was for Grrrs reference mine is very similar.

(Hope she didn’t hear that )

Never needed my EKA. Engine lost sync once or twice until I got the gen 3 RF receiver. Scrapper needs EKA every time but the lock actuator microswitch is stuffed. I suspect that's where most people's problems start.

Are they not talking about when you have had too many attempts and locked out?

Engine BECM sync has nothing to do with rf receiver. Passive immobiliser does.

Well i have to say i have stayed out of this (i dont have a nano) so i am not even going to say what can and cant be done.

What i am amazed at is your eloquent way of explaining where people are going wrong & why.

I Have had the pleasure of RRs for the last 18yrs and have only ever had to use the EKA once.

I dont profess to be an expert at all, but really find the way you " dont suffer fools" to not help the situation, Members are trying to prove/disprove something and all you say is " its bollocks". not the first thread either. I agree if something is wrong then it should be corrected, but explanation and reason helps.

But the thing is if you want people to learn then why not teach as you say you were so good at it, this is your chance.

Whenever i said "no thats not right" to anybody in my work i have always explained why and how. I worked up in my business with "dont ask just do it" that didnt work for me so I learnt, and was prepared to pass it on.

So to end, and i expect you to have a little rant.
The way i see it the Diesel and Thor run a very similar security which is not the same as the GEMS. So could it be that you maybe the guru on a Diesel but dont know the petrols very well?

:):)

My view is GEMS may have differences that may interfere with the method. Then there’s the issue of if the vehicles in question are faulty/modified in some way. BECMs do go crazy.
I would like to see someone with GEMS try it thoroughly like Kermit so we can see what’s what for sure. I do not think that the becm was in diag mode in Wazzas video and this would be relevant

I have neither so no point putting my head on the chopping block
