Discovery Sport possible change to..

Hi there, I thought i would stick my head in the door and see what its like here.
You would normally find me in the freelander room...
Its time for a change and the disco sport is in our sights. we are looking at 2016/17 with 40 - 60K miles sort of thing.
Theory is we do about 12K a year keep, it for 4 years or so and then move it on with around 100 - 110K. Or maybe keep it if it grows on us..
Is there anything we should look for?

Technically the DS is a FL2, so has more in common with those than a proper discovery.

FL2 issues are generally relevant to the DS too, although on the whole they're pretty good.

I don’t think they looked to bad and full of gizmos, until i look down on on from my D1 seat then i’m thinking there’s a few more similar SUVs to look at if you after that size of vehicle... and more reliable than Lane Rover according to the reviews.
Anyway if you do what a disco sport then get the top spec, from a main dealer and keep up with the warranty renewal for piece of mind, u may be lucky and not need it.

Thanks for the honest feedback at the end of the day it will be the wifes motor and she will have the final say lol.

Being it's a very close cousin of the FL2, you could technically ask questions on the Freelander forum about the DS.
