absolutely superb, you must be so proud of yourself having done all that.

few people would have bothered to do the back door two tone to match the roof.

Looks absolutely stunning

Morning, yes I still have her, abetted she's been through some changes since her build, mainly three gearbox rebuilds, diff changes to high ratio and back again as the higher ratio simply doesn't work here were I live.
The main changes have been from being a Di to a tdi, there are merits for both methods the di never gave me any trouble, and we had many long trips away down to lands end and back, touring the lakes and Dale's and day to day life around here.

So finally when the exhaust gave over and rotted out, it was cobbled together out of bits, I decided to go down the tdi route starting with the 300tdi manifold, fiat berlingo intercooler and a separate oil cooler and made a side exit exhaust to suit, this worked well and again we ran together with this set up a while, however this set up was awkward due to have the disco engine mounts and the exhaust outlet coming directly above it, this cause a very sharp 90 to avoid the mount and meant having to slim down the nuts to make them fit also the exhaust was again bits I had laying around.
This now bring us to the start of lockdown and I had 3 week off, I'd acquired a set of defender 200tdi manifolds so got them fitted and set on making a another exhaust but this time utilizing a steve parker 88" silencer and over the axle pipe, and a defender 200tdi downpipe and under the fuel tank pipe so now it exits as the old petrol system did using all the bracketry also.

She'll pull up the 1in3 out of here no problem with a trailer on from a standing start.

Hoping your all well, Chris.

Are you somewhere near Littlebeck? I live in Selby and our days out in the Land Rover are usually out on the moors and ending up eating fish and chips in Whitby. I ask about Littlebeck 'cos I know there are some pretty steep hills into and out of the valley.
