300tdi oil cooler Orings ???

Are these needed?

I am just refitting my rad after some maintenance and noticed when I disconnected the oil cooler pipes there weren’t any on however, a few vids on YouTube show them being put on.

I can’t see anything in the workshop manual either.

Either the 200 or the 300 has them and the other does not, which is which I cant remember!

I replaced them on my 300. Wil tray and find the part number I used,

I will give it a go without but if I have any leaks I will chuck a couple of ESR1594L on.

Did they come off the end of the pipe and are sitting in the oil-cooler boss?
I know that can happen as I have seen it.

Don’t think so, I have washed the oil cooler out and had a good look in the holes, given it a blast with the air gun as well.
