Can anyone explain how superlock works in simple terms? Can it prevent all four doors from being unlocked from inside car

That is exactly what it does.
The doorlock motors when super-locking disconnect the internal door-opening mechanisms.
LR recommend NEVER EVER superlocking with occupants inside the car.

What determines whether I will see repeater lamps flash or light on dash when putting in EKA code? Did it change after a certain vin or was it random?

It’s not random. It flashes differently for different things. It’s all in owners manual, did you not have one with your vehicle?

I think you've misunderstood the question DT.
I was asking what determines whether the repeater lamps flash or the lamp on the binnacle when EKA code is being put in. Is it an age thing or different depending on how LR felt on the day?

Think you might be able to switch it off using diagnostics but not certain. Other than that I think all ages do it. Mozz or Wammers would know for sure.

Super locking cannot be switched off, but the superlock motor can be disabled. What indication is given when entering EKA can be changed in the BECM. EKA can also be switched off.

Think it is the flashing indicators he is on about.

Nick is trying to determine whether his EKA entry actions are being seen.
I used my Nanocom to set mine to flash the side repeaters for every successful key-turn because the other option (on a bright sunny day) I could not see clearly while turning the key.
Is anyone near Nick armed with a loaded Nanocom?

I have a thread active at moment in Range Rover section ' Milk in my BECM' regarding a rear door that's superlocked.
1 How do you disable the superlock motor?
2 If I do this, would it solve my problem with my rear door?
3 Clearly the motors on the actuators can superlock individual doors if a short has occurred which has maybe happened in my case.
4 So when you are saying you can disable the superlock motor (singular) does this mean its stops the voltage pulses which activities the cam in the actuator motors.

There are two seperate motors inside the door lock,one to lock / unlock the other (smaller) moves a plastic pawl into position to physically stop the unlocking mechanism from moving.

^^^ is the ‘one down from last debate’ I mentioned in your milk thread.
He did say you would have to e-mail him before he left so may have turned alerts off.

You can simply disconnect the wire for the superlock motors, BUT it's important to 1) make sure the car is not superlocked first, and 2) make sure the disconnected wire cannot short anywhere.
