Hi,
Picked up a roof rack the other day and I'd like to fit driving lights to it on the front. Does anyone know if there any restrictions on lights at this level? I've had a look at the rules on the government website but I still wasnt sure.
Thanks for any replies

Thanks for that, I did have a quick search for it before I posted but must have missed that.
Supermarket barrier's will be alright,it'll smash the roof rack first which was cheaper than the lights. And I can weld that.
Thanks

Spot lamps are legally "optional main beam headlamps" and basically, you can have as many of them as you want at whatever height you want. They must only come on when on main beams, but the little marker light some of them have is allowed to come on with your sidelights.

I wouldn't go too mad with them though. Perma-noon is great when you're on an empty road, but your eyes adjust to this light level and when something comes the other way and you go back to two dipped beams, you can't see anything.
