It would seem Ashcrofts Have the turret but not the spring and roll pin but i will ring on Mon and see what they say? Thanks!

They should be available from any Land Rover parts supplier if you look up the part numbers.

Fitting new makes a big difference, (although I haven't come across a worn out spring yet) as does adjusting the 5th/rev gear overthrow stop.

That’s great, I was in the process of fitting a Slickshift however the turret was very worn in the spring housing Area so in for a penny in for a pound, it made very little difference to the stick movement when adjusting the bios spring, the ware is so bad.

The bias spring is only there to position the stick (at rest) to be aligned with the 3rd/4th gear gate.
If your turret is worn so the stick is 'sloppy' when in gear, fitting a new one will help cure that. Bias springs and pins aren't expensive but I'd be surprised that the originals are worn ....

Thanks I’m getting the slick stick kit on Mon. It’s only a quick job so will see what it’s like When fitted then decide if I should change the turret.

Yes I understand however I’ve purchases it now so may as well fit it. I’ve just put in a recon gearbox and trans boxBut I gave an honest opinion

Thanks for that however they have been out of stock since April. I’ve been given one place that looks promising so will give them a ring on Mon.
