My drivers side window has an issue where when it closes and gets to its fully closed position it sounds like it’s still trying to close still and makes an horrendous juddering noise. It happens when using both the centre consul switch and the door switch. Has anyone got any idea where the issue may be???? Could it be the regulator or motor or is there some switch not realising the window is at the fully closed position??

Sounds like the regulator. Common problem. The plastic wheels break up. Pull the door card off and it'll be obvious.

I have some pics of mine when I took it out and replaced it all. If that helps.
You may just find you need to take the motor out and empty the water out of it (!), then loosen the central pivot on the regulator, lube it and then ensure ALL bolts holding the motor to the mechanism, and the mechanism to the door are good and tight.
Can be a bit fiddly but aint impossible.
Worst bit is getting the door card back on without breaking too many plastic fittings!
I did put some of the pics in a thread on this but that was a few months back now.

That would be ace, I currently don’t have it at the moment as on a nice jaunt to wales Sunday the rear drive shaft decided to fall off so that was fun. But if you have any pics then please send them as it would be useful definitely

OK, Louie, message me your email address as it's impossible to send much via the message thing on here.
Meanwhile I'll try and find them!
