TD4 flashing dash lights on when starting

'Please help,
just had the clutch changed on the TD4, dropped off by garage whilst at work.
now on trying to start the car
all i get is all the dash lighs flashing and several clicking noises from the relay and ECU area of engine.
the flashing lights remain even in position 2 of the ignition.
also the temp needle flickers all over the place.
thought it might be a battery issueas it had been standing for about a month before clutch being done, had a full 18hour charge before trying again, still the same problem, tried a different key as well.
all help gratefully recieved'

Starter motor contacts and plunger check those out, it will require you to remove the starter.
