Subject says or all really. Trying to replace one of my prop shaft UJs. I think they've been in the a long time and slightly rust welded. Let some oxalic acid to do is thing. Cleaned. Plusgassed it for a while. Trapped one of the eyes to try and rotate the circlip in its grove, off came one of the eyes. So how do I extract it now?

If you remove the opposite one and push the cap away from the clip, you should be able to get pliers onto it... I'm sure others will have some ideas too.

Just bend the other side in to the middle then get a screwdriver behind it and lever it out to the middle, bending it out as you go.

+1 done it many times...electrical screwdriver works best...thin blade and cheap so no problem if you abuse it...
