Series 3 2WD High trouble

Hi all. I have a 1980 109 ex MoD. I don't use it enough and the latest problem is it wont go into 2WD High. The only options are 4WD High or low transmission.
I've taken the floor plate off and cant see anything obvious but I cant find any videos to show what it should look like when it works properly.

What are you trying to do exactly? Do you mean the yellow knob doesn't pop up when you select low?

Try driving it for a short distance, it’s sized and as posted is the yellow lever springing back? Get under the gearbox and get some WD in there.

Thanks both. The yellow lever is working fine and springs back up every time I take the red lever out of High. The trouble is the red lever wont go forward into 2 wheel drive High. It will only go into High if I depress the yellow lever making it 4WD.

theres 3 shafts poke out of the front of the output housing, one is the red lever one is the yellow the other behind the tin cover will be seized in the housing
