Good Monday folks

So been finishing more tiling today and then M went of and got the next project.



Guess it’s pack away the tiling stuff and dig out the wood butcher stuff after tomorrow .
I sometimes dream of only going to buy paint
I suppose that’s what I get for retiring early and buying a house far to big for 2.

Hope everybody’s week has got off to a good start

Good evening from near Chester.
Rain most of the day.had a nice drive through the countryside as not going to sit on the motorway for 1.5hrs in a traffic jam.

@Glasgie .

Been out working on the house with the boys for most of the day.
No wall in the house is square to any other wall (1970's build).
Plaster-boarding the ceiling has been challenging, but "Daddy-Pig" had a bright idea and we have done well.

I think about 60% is done now.
Came home because I have to cook my dinner, and I am knackered

Still 29°s here so just been for a bob as opposed to a swim to cool off ...

There is a discernible shortening of the days going on.

Cloudy and dull but it is still early for the sun to get 'is 'at on. That constant moderate breeze continues to blow.
