I was on for weeks with mine, We changed just about every join back to front, except this one in pic.. I done what Mick1986 told me and took pipe off union and just shoved it on to the LP pipe, and it worked. There was a crack in my union so I changed for different one and works fine now,
Don't blame the poor Lift Pumps, its not there fault . I went through 3 and they are all OK, Nearly took one back to the shop to complain.

Hello All.
So much to try and answer,,, ok Phil, No mate it wasn't touched,,, the engine never stopped running just stopped driving, pick the revs up and it died, foot off she would pick up again,,,,,, starts every time just wont rev or pull under load and I cant bleed the filter, nowt comes out,,,,, I think im going to try an electric pump and see what happens

Bypass the filter and tank and that will tell you if it is before or after the lift pump.
First stick the lift pump input hose into clean diesel and the out put into a container and see if fuel shoots out when spinning engine.
Back on with the output and start the engine, if running rough, open each pipe at the injector and see if diesel comes out then close.
If running well, use a fuel can and put input hose and fuel return hose into the can and go for a drive while securing can in vehicle somehow.
If it is running the same then tank and filter area is not the problem.
If it runs perfectly then you know all problems are tank to filter housing.

I have solved my problem. Wasn't the pump, wasn't the pipes, wasn't the filter, wasn't the unions,,,,,,,,,,,,:oops::oops::oops: was a dodgy fuel gauge telling me I had 1/2 a tank when it was bone dry, only found it cos in desperation I blew the whole system and there was no bubbling in the tank just the hiss of air,,, oh well least I know now the fuel system is brand new,,, well tomorrow ill throw the multimeter at the eleccy bits and see whats shot, im guessing sender, hadn't driven it for a couple of months so guess it was stuck,,,,,,,,,,,,, either way up red face or not im happy my fender is fendering again,,, and very well thanks to an unplanned service lol lol lol ,,,,,,,, Thank you All,,,,,,,, The geeeza with the red face
