Tis a sad day in the Duke household. Although both our lads have graduated with firsts our eldest has got a job and he's moving to Leeds with his girlfriend. Mrs Duke is fighting the tears back

As long as it's not to borrow moneyIt is a sad time but they do all have to learn the hard knocks of life. I'm sure he will soo come knocking on the door again, even if it's just to get 'is washing done!!

Got up to find my son (him & family staying with us) struggling to clear up a veritable sea of cat **** and a mountain of cat-pooh.
Cleared it all up with him and did the rest of the chores.
The cats are terrified of the screaming and general hullabaloo from the kids and so its back to mess in the morning.
Grrrrrrrr.......

Just make sure you eat the granola and not the cat litter as that tends to have bigger chunks.

After a week of alternating between doing nothing and a few odd jobs around Wimblowdriver Towers (on account of the slightly inclement wevver ) I as got into second gear today and done a bit of prep for the final push on me patio walls. Should get them finished this week, but I have done a stock take and reckon I will be one trowel of mortar short of the finish line .
