Morning All :D
Wow! That was SOME rain yesterday evening, guttering could not cope.
But nice and bright this morning so that's alright.
I foolishly(?) did 250 bicep curls on Wednesday (100, 50, 50, 50 across the day) with fairly light dumbbells and the DOMS has got me today and my biceps feel like they have been attacked and stomped on.
But I know its a "good" thing as it means them muscles are repairing and growing in response to being abused. I need to do a similar thing with my Triceps next, and that is going to be far worse I suspect.
But it is all towards improving my overall muscle tone and being able to do press-ups & Pull-ups again. It is shocking how weak you can become by being a lardy-ar$ed lazy-bones.
@derwendolly I discussed the "THE CAT" with the boss and I am going to try and get her looked at today while she looks after the grand-kids this afternoon.
Anyway enough of my nonsense, you all have a lovely day.

@derwendolly "Itchy" Cat was seen by the vet @ 11:10 (£98+) and is now very grumpy.
Verdict is inflamed gut and 2 jabs + medicine to put on her food for 7 days. If not better then back for sedation and blood-work.
Hoping she will bounce back.
It's a worrying time ( and an expensive one! ) but I am sure it is the best for the cat. She must have been 'suffering' for quite a while and will now be on the road to recovery. :)
Well done for taking her for the check-up.:)

It is one of those 'Wait & See' things. Cats are incredibly resilient (anything that can bite the head off a mouse and eat it for fun has to be) and so I was willing to see if she would self-recover.
Clearly, she wasn't coping as well as usual so some intervention was indeed required. Key "change" was the coat condition (it is a bit of a "litmus-paper" on a white cat). Happy to spend the money to give her a leg-up. :-D

Mate at work, his cat tore one of her foot pads this morning. Off to the vet. All fixed. Will be fine. EIGHT HUNDRED AN FIFTY QUID!

Ouch! It sounds a lot BUT one of my dog walking pals has got a couple of Irish wolf hounds and one of them did the same. She has been battling this problem for several months, running up huge vet bills. Yesterday, surgery was resorted to so as to solve the problem once and for all - in the meanwhile, the vet bills have been astronomical! Having the surgery in the first place would have been much cheaper! Fortunately, they can afford it.
