cluck noise

Hi I have a series 3 and when I take my foot off the accelerator there is a cluck noise any ideas what this is coming from Thanks Tom

Could be an engine or gearbox mount rubber gone or possibly a spring Bush gone to but needs ferther investigation.

Inspect the drive shafts, may be uj on the way out.

Sounds as if you've got a chicken caught under the accelerator pedal, have you checked? Failing that try what the others have said above.

Clunk on overrun /power on is one of many things
Wear in diff.
Worn splines on wheel hub drive members or the ends of halfshafts in the drive member.
Worn u/j's or sliding joints on propshafts
Two much endfloat on intermediate gear caused by wear on the copper faced shim or insufficient shims,the bevel gear thrusts the intermediate gear one way or the other going on or off load.

I have had a listen and seems to be coming from the gear box mount I have just had both front swivels rebuilt so should be ok Thanks .

I thinks its the nut behind the steering wheel ;lol
