Hi all, I'm here purely to save myself money!! I'm pretty mechanically minded and have recently acquired an 04 discovery TD5 with a few issues so hoping all you savvy land rover owners will give me some tips along the way!! Here's hoping for a beautiful working relationship!!

Hi mate! Welcome to the forum!
And the madhouse!
Disco 2s are great as long as you stay on top of them, particularly the rust at the rear end of the chassis, the warped exhasut manifold, the ABS sensors and hubs which play around for a pastime, etc, etc.
all the best!

Yep I'm experiencing these!!

Work done so far - both front hubs/bearing changed, both front abs sensors changed, both rear airbags/springs changed - 3 amigos are still on though! Will explore that later on, for now I've a gearbox fault I want to sort, have posted I the discovery forum!
