Don't think mine would ever pass emissions if it doesn't have any cats
Janspeed used to sell a "cat delete" pipe which was popular, with LPG converted cars the Cats aren't strictly needed..

NOT MY OPINION BTW..

It has since been discontinued, i think the laws changed..

Personally LPG is a cleaner alternative and with a pair of good cats you can have a V8 that isn't gonna kill ya..

My emissions report above surprised be, considering a 2002 Mini came in just before.

with

0.28% CO and 120PPM of HC..

Mine looks like it's got cats, i just don't know what's in there, never looked!!

Make sure it has the heat shield on it.

Doosle one will fit but doesn’t have the sheilding

I like Orville.
Apparently, coz of all the bells and whistles (and cup holders..!) index.jpg

Finally went for the Eurocarparts Klarius. Googled reviews and sounds ok. Plus 40% off (as always.) I will let you know when I pick it up tomorrow

Hope they send you the right one, the middle box they sent me was i think from a disco but there system gave it as the right one:(
they took it back ok

Right, exhaust collected. Doesn't look too bad, big lump of a thing and a lot of metal there. Welds look ok, metal is quite thick. I bought an exhaust for Mrs Bagshot Freelander last year off the 'bay and I think that was made out of old vacuum hoses it was that thin. Back boxes are a different style to my original ones and what the pictures showed on the website, but not worried, came out at just over £190.00 after 40% off, plus a clamp I had to get extra. Apparently it's made in UK and three year warranty (for what it's worth after its installed.!?). So we will see how it fits later, but not today. (Door mechs to rebuild first)

Not sure what brand it was, but I got complete system from All Parts last year. Was about £160 with "sons employee discount". Only issue was the centre section had to be returned for replacement as it was about 1" too short. Second one was correct, so watch out for sizing, and don't clamp it up until you check the fitment.

That's the same one I fitted to mine. Only issue I found is that the tail pipes were too short and hot exhaust melted the edge of the bumper a bit. Also, it needed persuasion to fit properly.
That said, I did re use my centre box so it might have been fractionally different length between the flanges.
Other than that it was fine.
