Hello chaps hoping for some input, I was coming home from work and all was well, but when coming up a hill at about 50 mph I put my foot down to go a bit faster it kinda of lost power the harder I put my foot down... (fine when Pedal not to the floor) then I pulled over and left at idle for a a min and carried on and all was fine again... I had this on my old disco td5, which was because of a britpart maf sensor.. But this maf sensor is genuine and it’s only 4 years old do they fail that soon?

For example bad contact at the fuel pump relay or the pump on it's way out or... who knows. You'll have to plug in a scanner to see if there is any fault code otherwise it's a guessing game

I put in new glow plug and fuel pump Relay (Genuine) not long ago as when I first turned the ignition on one time at work about a month or so ago I couldn’t hear the pump so maybe this is giving me warnings so to speak? Plugged in nanocom and nothing came up with regards to faults., Thanks for you’re input much appreciated

Well just got round to fitting my new genuine maf, the old one read 55 at idle and the new one reads 60 so hopefully that was the problem, even though I purchased the first in 2016 so maybe it’s luck of the draw
