Series 2 Dash heater vents

Can anyone please put a picture on showing how these secure to the bulkhead. I'm doing some welding to the vent panel and windscreen channel today but I've got no idea where these fit

I have a 2a with the wider mouthed vents and there is a metal strip that these attach to, that then attaches to the bulkhead.

Would you like a pic? Or have you sorted it already?

That'd be helpful, it's in bits at the mo though so there's no rush

You. I'll take a photo of it for you if you want. Postage might be tricky as its the width of a series windscreen

yes, I'll take one this evening when I get back from work.

I currently have my dash out and would offer a picture but on my S3, it's a different vent to that.

Looking at the picture (half way down the link page) it looks as if your vent screw onto the windscreen frame, not the bulkhead.
