Disco 3 (LR3) Suspension Issue ( Another! )

Hi all

Finally got round to replacing the alternator this morning

The Battery is 14.84v DC at idle the battery light went out on the dash etc however the suspension will not operate ( i cannot hear the compressor )

The car is currently on its knees with the light on

Hi all

Bit of an update, i stumbled across a RR thread i didn't realise that the suspension is over ridden with a door open

I left the drivers door open whilst it idled for 10 mins and i could hear the compressor as soon as i shut the door it raised

I suspect i have an issue somewhere and will look further into this

fingers crossed is a simple fixed, have learnt over time of how the suspension can throw its toys out the pram but after having to virtually rebuild mine learnt of its little traits

as always plenty here to help

That's normal operation......you dont have a fault.
