The good thing is I drive that much I am a very good guesser. ;)

That's what they all say when they go to naughty school after having had an encounter with the thin blue line! ;)

If you haven't got a working speedo over here, you face a hefty fine (if caught) and your car will certainly not pass its MoT until you've sorted it!

I've not used one of those exact units, but it looks a little expensive for what it is. You could just use an app on a smartphone.

Or one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HEAD-UP-...003922?hash=item593f1dc112:g:gD0AAOSwzpxd730G

I have used a similar one in a different car, in 'HUD' mode, where it reflected in a small piece of semi-transparent reflective tape that you stuck to the bottom of the windscreen. Was acceptable, but be aware that if you're driving somewhere like Norway, with lots of very long tunnels with speed cameras in them, then the speedo won't work just when you need it most!

Well, I did get myself a Land Rover smart phone, but... if I start fiddling with it while driving, I can kiss my license goodbye for at least a year!

It’s MOT exempt and if pulled then I’ll be stationary so they won’t know. Not sure why it’s noy working but it’s on my list.

Unbelievably, the speedo in my series 3 tallies exactly with the mph app on my phone whilst the wife's Honda Jazz over reads by about 3 mph at 30
