I think BFGs are a bit of rubber bling, you pay a lot for a well advertised brand name whih really isn't much better than the less advertised ones! Kalvin Bench tyres inc...

Colway's,they went out of shape causing the shakes and wore like hell.Recip mud terrains, they were terrible in the wet and wore like hell on the road, even more in the mud i swear and i seemed to loosed chunks off the tread.Genral grabber At2's,They were ok very noisy and i would say more 70%on road and 30% off road as oppose to 50-50.Ive also had various cheepies and there seemed to last no longer than a blink on an eye.I did have a set of michelin xzl's(milatry type) whick were awsome. as good as bfg muds but they werew 7.50x16 and just looked stupid.
2 of my landys now have Bfg all terrains and one has Muds and to be honest they do take alot of beating.Especillly the milege Bfg at's do and the way MT'S Handle in the mud.I hear these Kuhmo kl71???(if that the name) are supposed to be good.

To be honest n Redhand ive heard alot about Bfgs having weak sidwalls but im on my second set of bfg muds and i havnt had anytrouble with the sidewalls so far(touch wood). But then agian i dont go down very many stoney lanes as there arnt many around here. But i have heard alot of bad things about them.Personally i like them.

Yella.Do you have some of these Kuhmo's?.What would you rate them?.i was looking at some as they do look pretty awsome in the mud but dont know anyone who has them. cheers
