I've done over 40.000mls in ours in the last 4yrs and I'd take the old girl anywhere
Just been through the file and made a rough list of what has been needed with my P38.
UK RHD P38
Purchased Febuary 2009.Bought unseen on Ebay. Mileage so far just over 50K.

March 2009 Arnott Gen2 airsprings fitted, valve block and compressor overhauled
May 2009, UK trip with caravan, Aircon failed, condenser leaking. EAS trouble in the rain
Front N/S height sensor O ring failed letting in water. Both items replaced on return to France.
Since then,
Drivers window mechanism failed
Engine oil cooler and pipes leaking.
Heater O rings failed
Heated screen and mirrors failed. Movement OK.
Plenum foam failed
Gearbox flaring on shifts. Lucas improved it but still not perfect.
Driver pack failed, repaired.
Brake accumulator failed
Radiator split. (Whist in the UK messed up holiday)
Blend motor problems, replaced with one from scrapper.
Viscous fan failed Aircon fans now used instead
Track rod and drag link replaced
New dryer failed after 12 months, knackered valve block and compressor
Boot release button failed.
Brake lines rusted out burst after emergency stop.
Water pump failed needed recovery for the one and only time. (so far)
Plenum foam failed again, replaced with perforated metal.
FIP top O ring leaking. Replaced O ring.
Leak off pipes replaced 4 times so far.

Plus of course the usual consumables, pads, calipers, front discs, cat back SS exhaust, tyres & wipers oil and filters, several ATF changes + Lucas.
By comparison, My Pajero had close to 200K miles on it when I sold it with nothing needed other than consumables, not even an exhaust. May Hyundai Galloper had nearly just over 100K on it when I sold it because started drinking diesel, the only failure had been a belt and a glowplug relay in 50K miles.
The saving grace with the P38 is that the parts are cheap and there is lots of info available.

Holy 2.25ton cow!!!
I'm not going to count any of the repairs and let alone prices... I would cry.. I could have bought some beautiful bass guitars for this money..
Your list does show that you really do like your bus even though you doth protest!! ;)
