Disco 1 Fix then fail! Smoke! Help please with pics!

Hi all, managed to get the suspension lifted and new wheels and tyres on the car last week. Looks miles better. Drives awful as expected!

Went to the shop yesterday but the car wouldnt go over 2500 revs, drove fine under the revs, pulled over and car was billowing with smoke. Turned car off, let it rest for a while then back on, only a little smoke on start up but when revved quite a bit of smoke. Have included videos to show..

Had a play this morning and found a hose split coming off the turbo:

Fixed it, went for a drive. Car was driving better than ever, no smoke, better acceleration, thought I'd sussed it but then a huge amount a smoke billowing out of the exhaust and a loud clicking noise.
Had a look straight away at the turbo and was pretty oily, Any idea anyone?? I'm stuck now.

Quick question.. do you have a diagram of engine components, just a couple of things I'm unsure of on there..!

I use this one sometimes , it might be worth putting it in the engines forum and having a search on here
I would guess some one will have had it, is the clicking coming from turbo, and what’s the frequency of clickS at tickover
Sometimes that helps to pinpoint to crank, cam or injector

Thanks, I couldn't really tell, I was on the A6 and it was quite busy today so just turned the engine off. It disappeared once I turned it back on again. I'll take a few components off tomorrow to inspect and give it another test run to try and replicate the fault.

Found a split hose so put a new hose on. Took the car for a drive, was great for 5mins then started making a horrendous ticking noise sounding like it was coming from underneath the car, smoke billowing out everywhere. Turned the car off, car carried on running, revs got faster and faster, louder and louder, I thought the car was going to blow up. Jumped out, walked away and after about 20 seconds it cut out. Will not startnow at all. Absolute pile of rubbishthese cars!

Ooh sh it sorry to hear that , sounds like it’s running on engine oil leaking past turbo seals
Scary but I would have put it in 4th and stalled it

It's an automatic! I thought by turning it off it would stop!

The turbo bearings are lubricated by engine oil when the seals go oil is drawn past into the inlet manifold and the compression ignites it just as it would diesel oil, as more oil goes in , engine runs faster and draws more oil in and then engine runs faster, have a search on here , it will have happened before
With an automatic I guess you would have to put handbrake on and try a gear not sure on that
