Tyre Slow Puncture

Right Stupid Question I know, but I've had a Very slow puncture for a few months now, starting to get a bit worse, Not sure if its repairable or not as its cracked on side wall in pic. Loads of tread on all 4 tyres , cant afford new one with same tread, I have a spare same size but it is different tread altogether.
Is it reparable ?

Not a bead seal or valve?

They're a remould case so it's the case cracking, the carcass could be fine, if it is leaking there then you could patch the inside of the tyre or just fit a tube.

Thanks. Not sure where it is leaking from , don't think its the valve. could be anywhere just wondered if that cracking means the whole tyre is knackered , don't want to take it to tyre place for them to tell me its no good and I need a new one.
 
That tyre has had it & needs to be replaced.
You could keep it for playing offroad but that's about it.
Be an idea to have a look at the rest if they were all fitted at the same time.
 
To echo others, the rubber is not the important thing with tyres, it is the ply-cords within. If the sidewall is badly damaged it will allow moisture to attack the ply-cords within, some of which will be steel.
Blowouts occur when the ply-cords fail through overheating, damaged ply-cords will cause this, usually when travelling at speed.
I presume that your Land Rover has been left sitting on a flat tyre for a period of time, which will have gone a long way to causing the cracking, at least the other three should be OK.

That tyre is fkd im surprized you had to ask tbh, I doubt very much its leaking from the sidewall cracking.
If you get some fairy liquid & water in spray bottle & spray the wheel rim, valve & tyre it will bubble up
my guess would be a leaking rim. it might take a min or 2 to show up.

I know Mate, was hoping someone would say it could be fixed,;) Its been like that since I bought the Truck about 3 months ago, just slowly looses air but getting a bit quicker now. Be lucky if I do 10 mile a week in it, Cant afford a new one of the same kind , Basically been laid off work till god knows when due to the Virus. but not the only one hopefully we will al come through this.
I have a spare the same size but it is a completely different tread so don't think that's legal either.
Just thought of a plan, Might try and find 4 old rims and tyres to put on my Defender rebuild whilst its stood, and put the ones on it on my Disco as they are not to bad.

At least you have options, I wouldn't be driving with that dangerous tyre though I have a few spares shame you
weren't closer.;)

The spare will be legal if it's only the tread that's different. Either way get that tyre off sharp.

This is the spare A lot les tread then the others but still plenty, probably feel different driving with it on. Might give it a go.

Christ, thats is a much better tyre. I'd have that as the main. Also I was expecting a size difference and was gonna Terence space savers etc. But no need now. Get it swapped.

Just think it will feel different with having 4 chunky treaded tyres as in pic then putting this one on its own.

The tread on your spare isn't THAT far from what it would be replacing so not as though you're fitting a road type tyre.

Mixes of tyre construction - radial or crossply - on a vehicle are subject to legislation.
4 of the same type all round is fine.
If you have a mix of crossply & radial the radials must go on the rear.
You can't mix tyres on an axle i.e you can't have a radial on one side & a crossply on the other.
 
All tyres are date stamped on the side of when they were made. If it’s more than 10 years old it’s dangerous.
