Leaking roof on a 3 door Freelander Help!

Hi To you all Again, so far you have helped me no end and I have been able to sort things out with a little help from the forum. My next problem is that the removable roof leaks. Can I buy a new rubber seal and if so where is the best place to go. And if not help. The roof is good just the seal.

Have you tried removing the roof cleaning the seal thoroughly and then lubricating the rubber with some Vaseline or similar and then refitting the roof?

I did this on all of my seals and a previously condensated hippo became dry....

Would definitely recommend this.

Worked on my 3dr roof & as a plumber I fit a lot of walk-in baths for elderly people, even the smallest amount of dirt on the rubber stop it sealing properly.
If you find any damage to your roof seal when cleaning it then try eBay or a breakers for another one, they're not known for wearing out as few owners actually remove the roof!
