Hello all , need some advice on my td4,s exhaust ,been under and had a look , from the downpipe with a flexi joint to a flange , then the next section that has the cat , with a silencer in line just behind (thats split) then the pipe goes to the rear silencer , thats also goosed , it seems to be all in one section , that is the cat with one silencer (middle section) can i get the replacement parts , eg , if the pipe is cut after the cat ,thanks ian

Go to exhaust-a-fix in Darlington, there replace just the sections you need replacing......I got my smaller back box done there....they done a good job. :)

Hello all , update on this topic , exhaust a fix were not to helpfull on the phone , so tried my local factors , £234 for the 2 sections with the cat , not too forthcoming when i mentioned decat mods , looked on ebay , cheapest was what nodge put up , any way next day one of mates put this strait up on his phone  IMASAF td4 centre exhaust section 270608461030 £109 free postage from GERMANY , so i took the plunge and after 9 days it arived today , RESULT just what i needed , as my cat is still intact , and clamp fitting , i now have to carefully measure and cut the old pipe to fit , the back box cost £36 , so i saved £90 QUID :)

Good work dude,

I may have to do something similar soon

Any chance of a picture of the join/cut?

Cheers

Hi , the cut with a angle grinder was made where the deflecter plate starts , that was cut off first , took a couple of goes of grinding until the pipes joined , theres not a great deal of play where the rear of the pipe passes through the sub frame/drive shaft area , the rear box is smaller than the oem part , a bit more ground clearence :) the (OD) is 7 and 3/8 of a inch , I used the 65 mm clamps that came with the section .
