Hi, I have an L322 2006 with an air suspension fault. I've now found the fault but can't find what the part is called. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated. The valve is located on the driver's side of the rear sub frame. I have added a pic name or part number would help.
TIA

Tend to agree, the vehicle may go into shock having a non rusted part fitted to it. Is the vehicle on the road ?
If so i would send it for an mot before spending money on it mate :)
This is not being negative its just you may have a ton of money that will need spending on it ;)

Like HC i'm wondering how you found the fault?
And how you know it is the particular component?

Surely if there was a code that would give you a vague idea of the part at fault ?

And regarding the rot.

Rust on and around the subframe is quite common from what i've seen on a few L322's. Subframe mounting areas are one hell of a rot point on them, same as the rear seatbelt anchorage point..

Yep , and also one hell of an MoT failure.
@ OP as said several times above if it is on the road, get it checked/MoTd , before spending.
Other than that good luck with her.

I was wondering if it was something to do with the fuel tank leak detection system but i have my doubts now as the part int he photo is metal and the pump i am looking at is plastic.
its the pump that pressurises the fuel tank to detect for leaks, emission control stuff.

And reading the description from rave it looks to be in the wrong place as well, you may want to ignore this .........

Also the rave manual i have doesnt cover all of 2006 as that would have been Jag ny then
