Having just sold my 110 CSW, it made me wonder how my old Series 2 SWB truck cab is doing.. checking with DVLA I see it is still taxed until April 2016.. I had it for 13yrs, selling it some 21yrs ago.. Nice to see it's still going?

I bought her in 2013 from a salvage yard in Sudbury, it had hit a tree sorry state she was too, tree hit centre front pushed bumper into rad into engine, knocking the bonnet bending the bulk head dropping the doors, bending one front chassis outriggers pushing front axel back bending steering bars terrible state. After lots of knuckle bashing by me, shes now back to former glory, panels beaten flat, pretty good job too, fresh coat of green, bulk head repairs, outrigers, etctctctc. wiring loom engine rebuild, gearbox rebuild.. still on original chassis and all body panels except door tops. she sill has both the glass front side lights I presume original.
original engine was gone when I bought her, she was sporting a series 3 light green petrol presume ex army lump, which was had it. she now has a 2.5 but with all the old bits from the series 3 engine. timing case for series 2 water pump etc..
I use her regularly just been doing up a house using her to collect sand town trailers etc... best rover i've ever owned. ive had 3 rovers .A 90, a series 3 and my favourite series 2.
she had about 92,000 on the clock when I got her in 2014, she has just turned back to zero I'm assuming again.
so it was 34 years ago you bought her that's around 1983s (I was 2)
