Discovery 4 Electrical gremlins

Hi all i'm new to the site and sorry if these questions have been asked before but i have got a 64 plate disco 4 and having a few electrical gremlins the service reminder keeps coming on and it has just been done and this morning the light for the eco drive came on and wont go off as it said it is not available at the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Check or have checked your battery voltage. If low can give various issues/ warning lights.

As above. If it's the original battery fitted, then at 6 years old, it's past its best, and can be responsible for odd electrical gremlins.

You need to test the voltage under cranking. If it drops below about 10.5 Volts, then it's past it's best.

are you talking about the main battery or the second smaller battery

The main starting battery.

Cheers Just been reading up about the battery changing and my vehicle has the BMS battery management system on it and will need resetting by dealer is this correct?
