personally I wouldn’t bother with the garage who did them , I would take it straight to another garage who can fully document the problem as thats defently not normal

do u know what make were fitted please as they look a rubbish make

no is the answer, just a receipt for parts and labour, the big problem i nearly arse ended at around about.

bloody hell, glad ur ok and didn’t hit anyone , personally wouldn’t drive it until you’ve made an appointment with another garage who knows what there doing
where is leek near plse as I maybe able to find out where a recommend garage is
I used a garage in Chesterfield area as I moved recently, they have been very good up until now, had loads of work done and very pleased with them until now, paid £280 front disc's and pads,
That’s a shame they’ve let u down, maybe give the other garage u know a call and see if they can help

no probs, personally I wouldn’t let them touch it and go to the other garage at least then u can get better pics , full written report along with having the brake fixed properly
then at least once done u can take it up with the other garage to get ur money back

yes your right brakes need to be spot on on any car nevermind 2 3/4 tone with 510bhp.
indeed , have a D3 myself , so nothing like the engine u have that needs some serious stopping power , D3 only weighs 2.7 ton, lol
Plse let us know how things go and if u can some piccies please as it will be interesting to see what there like with the wheel removed
also had a look and genuine discs are around £100 each so going by ur invoice sounds like they’ve fitted junk, seeing there like that in only 6 x weeks
That looks to me like those aren't working at all so pads not bedding into discs. The other pointer to that is that you almost spun it suggesting only the rears are working.
As above, get it sorted at a garage you trust and make a claim on the clowns who let this out of their workshop like that. Bloody lethal!

Were the brakes fine before the garage changed the discs and pads.

Being a mechanic I would appreciate the chance to put anything I've done incorrectly, correct.
Worst case is they've buggered something, they may never tell you that. Possibly when they've pressed the caliper pistons home there was corrosion on the cylinders and there is a piston seized?
But if you have no confidence with the garage , take it and have it inspected by another and get a written report and get back in touch with the original garage and get their answer.
It could be purely coincidental or they've caused an issue.
But stop using as it's not fit for the road with faulty brakes.
If you have an accident having a known fault you are liable...

I hope you get to the bottom of it.

Personally being part of a "scheme" only means the garage is paying for an advert.had a salesman trying to flog space in a trust a trade mag he said he would give us a glowing report.Asked him what qualifications he had, his reply was none but if we didn't join the scheme we would loose out.we had 17 cars booked in that day and all came from recommendations not advertising, You can imagine the conversation as he was shown the door.Where there is a scheme there's a schemer.
