Disco 300Tdi conversion in to 110.
Never done this before so please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong. Just about ready to fire the engine up for the first time, I think I've got everything plumbed in just one more pipe in to water bottle . Wired harness to Ignition and it turns over, New oil and filters, just need water. It has a brand new Tank with new fuel lines fitted up in to Injection pump, Now will I have to hand Prime the diesel all the way to filter or will it pump up when turning over ?? never had diesel in tank yet, but gonna put some in tomorrow.
Another thing I noticed is this pipe circled in last pic, what goes on this ?, as cant remember seeing anything on it.
Thanks

last pic is vac pump you need to blank the pipe or connect it to the servo, first, then pump fuel upto the filter, then slacken front banjo bolt on pump and pump fuel through to there, slacken the 4 injector pipes at the injector end ,turnover till they weep fuel, tighten the injectors, apply glow plugs then go for start

Do you still have the EGR valve fitted?

Thanks. Really sorry for all questions but want to get it right.
Didn't know that it connected to Servo, is it just rubber pipe ? I don't have any Brake or Clutch Fluids in yet will that matter ? how will I blank the pipe ? and shall I fill Filter up with Diesel before I screw it on ? .
No AGR fitted

it doesnt matter you have no brake fluid etc just its blanked by the servo or a plug up a hose fitted over

Just another quick one, Its never had water in yet, do I just pour in expansion tank until its up to the level.,
Are you just putting water in ?
Take the cap ( large hex head on it) off the thermostat housing and do final fill from there. Be patient, let it settle until you can get no more in via stat housing.

No the 1 by the oil cap. Remove that to let any air out
This one Mate ?

Always good to change the stat after 10yrs of doing nothing, but that's not what I was saying. Do the final coolant fill through the top of the stat housing. :)
