I have a definite split in the top boost hose. I was planning on flushing the intercooler anyway so ordered a set of silicone hoses from this crowd:

Rubber ones are about £40 a set and silicone are 65. I figured balls to it, it's only 25 quid.

I must have been looking at the Defender. £65 doesn't sound so bad for a set.

Silicone ones I’ve seen are £25 more again, they only have the one set for EGR engines so won’t fit mine

my old Vogue will be getting the transplant, the 4.6 in it will come out and also be rebuilt and then either sold. or kept for a future project..
The 5.2 will go in, it is an RPI block that was balanced and blueprinted, however it was mistreated and at the moment is just a paperweight..
they can easily handle 400hp in the 5.0+ litre form, so that is the goal.
