MOT due 7th March... Dropping the Disco in with my friendly welder, to stitch a patch on the chassis, near the gearbox. Just a n/s bearing and axle seal to fit, rear brakes, and a looksee over the old girl, and hopefully its a pass... Need to refit the engine cover to hide the EGR delete though...

Back from welders. Needed a 6 inch patch. All good now. Trip to Craddocks this afternoon to buy rear brake carrier, brake calliper, brake hose, and all replacement bolts for both rear brakes. Might as well replace a few pipes whilst Im at it, just so the MOT man is happy.

Replaced the pipe that goes from the top of the rad, to the expansion bottle, as it snapped due to being brittle from engine heat. Worth replacing if you haven't done so, as it was about £8 and could literally land you in hot water if it breaks far from home.

Tidied up the wiring loom with some new split conduit, cable ties and fabric tape. Looks nice... Refitted the engine cover, to hide the non existent EGR valve, for the MOT.
