Knowsley safari park, monkeys will have it off in seconds. Or gentle heat, I used a 2000 watt hair drier for the adhesive but the number plate was already off.

Take it to Knowsley and the monkeys'll have the whole car! Ran a fleet of 40 vans in the north & east midlands - great big ones with Green branded wrapping all over - you could not miss them - only place we ever had one stolen - while the the guys were on the roof - was Knowsley, twice!

Since your local you could pop over to the Earl of Bath's place - let actual monkeys remove it for you and have a fund day out too!
Length of strong fishing line - braid is best. A length of electrical wire/length of flex (plastic sheathed) will also work. (I've used all three, depending what was to hand at the time).
Tie each end to a short piece of wood or similar to use as handgrips.
Put behind plate & work across using a sawing motion.
Bit of heat can help.
Residual adhesive from the sticky pads can be cleaned off with WD40, 'Tar & glue remover' or clutch & brake cleaning fluid.

- old,ugly, tired in Lincoln.
Or .6mm mig wire if you have it, other than that just rip it off its going to break anyway plus you are replacing it.
