Black painting a galvanised chassis - not the usual question!

My new Richards chassis should arrive in a couple of weeks and I will be finishing it in black (Defender 90).
This is not the usual "should I / shouldn't I" question about painting a galvanised chassis or how to prepare it (so please let us not go there!) but instead about the paint YOU personally used and more importantly, how did it go on and how is it standing up after 12-24 months of use? o_O

The obvious choices are Buzzweld CIO, Arc-Rite Corroless Glass Reinforced Chassis Paint In One and of course Frosts Chassis Black (I know there are many others but for simplicity I am sticking to these three).
From what I can gather the Buzzweld & Arc-Rite offerings are to all intents and purposes the same product.

I have spoken to each of the suppliers and got their advice (all have been very helpful) but it is YOUR personal experience I am after.
I am assuming that anyone on here who has painted their galvanised chassis did all the preparation correctly so how did the paint go on and is it holding up as well as you expected (any chips or areas of damage becoming evident)?
As an aside it would be interesting to know how much paint you used, I intend to apply by brush to most areas but spray the rear crossmember and awkward to reach areas.

When I painted mine, I done the usual prep of T-wash, then done around 4-6 coats of Tor Coatings Red Oxide Primer. A 5 Ltd tin weighs around 20-25kg, it’s loaded with zinc. It dries super fast, went onto the chassis a dream. I would use this again if I ever done another rebuild. The black paint was a generic metal paint, I think it was a Johnstone’s branded paint but I can’t remember exactly (I will find out for you though). Again this went on a dream, didn’t dry anywhere near as fast as the red oxide primer though. I painted something like 4 coats of it. If the weather isn’t **** tomorrow, I will stick my head under the defender and take some photos for you.

I have used one of the buzzweld chassis paints, it’s an “all in one” paint, but I don’t think it’s their branded CIO. I don’t rate it. It cracks and chips off at the slightest knock with a spanner, so god knows what it’s like with stone clippings at 50-60mph.

Mine has been painted since April 2019, I will find out how many miles it’s done since the MOT, and make a call based on the photos.
 
I applied arc-rite all in one paint to my mordant t washed chassis and mine seems to crack and chip easily. I did contact arc-rite and they did say it might be contaminates in the air which caused the issue and admittedly I did paint in my garage which has a dusty bare concrete floor.
It's too late to do anything now with it pretty much rebuilt.
 
Ive got a galv bulkhead - not been outside long enough to judge, but my choice was t-wash, then epoxy primer, then 2k.

Fresh galv doesn't even need t-wash with epoxy primer, if you get it soon enough.
 
Im also currently derusting my 110s chassis (non galv) in situ. Ill be brush painting that with lechler 29107 when im happy with it.

Its an older chassis, and all the tar based things just frustrate me if repairs are ever needed (not that that will be a consideration for you with a new, dipped chassis)
 
Didn’t like the buzzweld stuff. Mines painted in 2pac apoxy or what ever it’s called. You can get it from arc-rite

From what I am hearing here and elsewhere it does appear that the Buzzweld & Arc-Rite glass paints may not be all they are cracked up to be.
I will go back to plan-A and use my normal chassis black which has serve me very well for years.
