Evening all,

After having “topping out” issues I’m trying to find the “right” pair of rear shocks for my D2 and am really struggling, so need some help please!

I have a 2” lift on the front and have put spacer blocks under the airbags on the rear to give similar lift but I’m struggling with the right shocks to pair up with this setup - the OME (60025) that were on the before the lift aren’t coping well.

I thought the OME 60026 might be the answer but then read the “don’t use with air suspension” comment - is that just a cautionary note or is there a reason for that?

failing that would the TF +2” work ok with the lifted air?

if anyone has any real life experience of this and could point me in the right direction it would be hugely appreciated!

cheers

Well a britpart supergas shock works fine with my air suspension at standard height, so no reason why a TF one wont do so at a 2” lift. It may not give you the ride you are after but wont harm the air springs.

@Michalis Karatzis - thanks, I was looking at these actually having read some decent reviews on the "new" models vs the old ones
@sierrafery - not heard of the Raptor's before but will certainly check these out. I wont be doing anything agressive off-road and certainly want something that will cope with light off-road as well as driving around Wales etc

thanks both for your help
