Very slow uphill

Evening guys

This has happened twice in the past 2 days soon as i go uphill its like im trying to go up it in 3rd gear even with foot to the floor the gears wont change down straight away it crawls up the hill eventually then it will pick up and away it goes.
Any idea please

What car/petrol/diesel? handbrake on?

2.7 hse RRS diesel no handbrake isnt on.

What about error codes on the engine or gearbox?

Not showing any error codes at all.
I live on a hill so when i pull off its like i pulled off in 3rd gear and was crawling up the hill very slowly even with foot to the floor

Have you tried manually selecting a lower gear?
What about going thru the gears one by one in low?

Hi

Have a look at the MAP sensor in top of the throttle body, they block up

Never done it before service but its only done it twice dont do it eveytime i drive.
Only owned a month

Try letting the engine warm a little before setting off if you are straight onto a hill. Certain functions are restricted until mechanics reach a working temp.

hi

ref the fuel filter , see what make it is as the cheap ones can cause issues , will be on the drivers side by the back of ur front wheel, will have the make on the side of the fuel filter

but check that MAP sensor first

If it does it again i will get it looked at. As iv said before not had it long but having fair amount of problems but hopefully will sort them out as i go along i love range rover.

However, ( here it comes

) you really can't own a Range Rover (yep even a sport

)with the attitude of 'if it does it again I'll get it looked at'. It's done it twice, take the warning.These beasts are tempermental, and if you don't pay attention to the little warnings, they will turn around , and bite you where it hurts.
You were concerned enough to come looking for help. So why not act on that help , and save yourself from something bigger.
