Afternoon all,
Had plenty of land rovers in the past from a defender to 200 and 300 discos and a TD5 disco.
Just bought a range rover sport TDV8 and there's a whining which i can only describe as sounding like a supercharger, the Hawkeye picks up no fault codes, the truck drives perfectly with no smoke or other issues.
The only thing i noticed was that the ace fluid was slightly below the minimum level, topped it up and the noise remains,
It appears to be coming front the very front of the engine driver side, after switching the engine off it makes a few strange squeeks like a knackered bearing is still slowing down to a stop.
The truck was sat up for around 4 months and the seller says it wasnt making that noise previously
any help on this is much appreciated
