drove to work and back again 29,2 mph this time so its getting better
looks good, if I may say that if u ever find that some of the silicone hoses come off try some t bolt clamps , can get them in stainless steel as well

ur very welcome, used them when I fitted new silicone hoses on mine and also found because there wider helps secure the hose better inc being airtight and the ends don’t lift up, also like u can use a socket

Thanks to this excellent forum I fixed the non opening tailgate on my disco 2. A splurge of WD40 on the handle pivots and in seconds all was back to normal. Thanks chaps!!!

going to try one myself, think ive sold my d2!! 11 plate 3.0l XS
I know all the issues they have but it’s a nice place to be, it somehow managed to feel lighter than my D3,
So it’s decision time soon.

which model did you try pre 2012 or after?
It was a 15 plate with 33k miles on, so 8 speed gearbox, and full LR service history my only issue is it’s a base model so lacks a lot of the toys, mainly sat nav, dealer telling me most people use google maps on there phones these days but I think I want a sat nav fitted. anyone know if you can fit aftermarket one without upsetting the car’s electronics?

Gave her a wipe over..
put some Auto Finesse Satin gel on the tyres!
And lifted her up to fit the new crank position sensor tomorra!
