.....that is the question....

VIN search brings up ABS pipework, but I have never spotted any ABS actuator unit under the bonnet...hmmmm?
No access to the beast at present or I would of course have a look o_O

Were such fairly early TD5 s built some with some without maybe?

You experts bound to know the answer, I hope. Got to order pipes to replace v corroded originals. Thanks, A

Thanks, at least I know the chassis records might be right.

I’d imagine there would be a large actuator box with a lot of pipes to see - where do they locate that on the 110 CSW? Cheers, A

ABS was only ever standard on the XS version.
So yours would only have it if the original purchaser specified it as an option.

Im not sure on a TD5, but on a Puma, it’s located between the brake master cylinder and drivers side wing. Two pipes from the master cylinder go into the ABS module, and 4 come out (one to each wheel).

An easy way to check if yours has it, look at the rear axle. If it has two flexis from the chassis down to the axle, then it probably does. A single flexi, and it doesn’t.

Or, get up to speed on a wet road and stand on the brakes.
If the rear wheels lock up and the Landy skids, there’s no ABS
If the Landy stops in a straight line, but after doing so two warning lights appear on the dash and won’t go off, then it had ABS.

Great info chaps (sorry the email/watch function is u/s it seems).

I am the original purchaser, and didn’t order as an extra, so no ABS appears correct despite chassis record saying otherwise. And certainly no unit between m/c and driver wing, so fully answered thank you! A
