I have made some progress on this.

Removed the radiator - it does need a really good clean now, which in progress.

Fan works - but needs some technical advice on part of the wiring. The fan is connected to a kind of relay close to the battery, with an exposed copper coil that does not look in serviceable condition. Any one know what that does?

Nearly finished making a bracket to mount it behind the passenger side front shock.

@Salisbury Nick. If you are making a custom bracket, is there any benefit in investing in a smaller more efficient oil cooler? Those cooling tubes and fins don't look that efficient so may miss the the air flow that its original position provides.

Until this week I had not realised this was an option, but you are right. It is worth thinking about it.

It has a fan as standard although i removed it for cleaning but i will put it back on when i re-mount the rad. Photo’s to follow when I finish it.

I have got to work out how to fill the system with oil again avoiding an air lock now that the rad will be the highest point!
Don't forget its pumped in by the gbox oil pump o_O
