Hi. I’ve been struggling with the eas on my P38 Overfinch project...I’ve been through all the helpful info here, rebuilt valve block and compressor, fitted new gen 2 springs and I’ve still got a car on its bump stops with a tank that won’t fill due to air pulsing out the valve block silencer, with same symptoms when I swap for another valve block I have.

I think I’m about to give up, and wondered if anyone can recommend a good specialist in this area to help finish what I’ve started! Based in Derbyshire but don’t mind sending it to the right place.

many thanks

Sounds like the diaphragm valve in the valve block may be faulty, but it could be the exhaust valve or the driver pack.
Not sure you will find any specialist commercial garages for the EAS, most run a mile when it's mentioned. Actually it's quite a simple system, but needs a bit of logical thought.

Driver pac has nothing to do with compressor side of system

Thanks for the replies. I’ve enjoyed learning about the system it’s just I’m getting a bit frustrated. I only wanted to use a garage if I knew I wasn’t having to pay for their time to ‘bumble around’ like I have been doing. I might have a closer look myself before I send it anywhere. I’ll check the items you have mentioned

When I was having a similar problem, it was the non return valves, I replaced all 3 (2 one way 1the other) and my problem was solved. certainly worth looking at

Yeah the info on here has helped me no end so far. Just at a low ebb today as it’s been off the road for a month and want to get some miles on it!

I know your woes my friend I’ve still got the compressor & valve block that I rebuilt that didn’t cure the problem so bit the bullet and got one from kurt fixed a leaking pipe put on a new air dryer and all was cured

With Kurt's bits all your woes will be over I can assure you, You could send him your rebuilt valve block and he will check it out and fix any problems,
