L322 ignition won't turn and steering lock stuck on

Hi All.
i've got a problem with range rover vogue l322 the key wont turn and steering lock stuck on.
fuse trick won't work.
ive managed turn ignition on using the jumper wire on column wire but engine wont crank.
ive got hold of another column and plugged it in still wont turn ignition.
any idea's or solutions welcome.

Sounds like a lube problem

not sure what you mean by lube problem.
i've now fitted a replacement column and still got same problem

Lubrication

I'm no expert, but seems like when things are stuck is lubrication, especially in the winter with the cold, maybe someone with a better clue will turn up and help

I also have a continuous fault code of Anti rotational driver short to battery.
same code with old and new column.
it clears with diagnostics and comes back

Charge the battery, mine did the same. As soon as I put it on charge, the steering lock came off allowing me to turn the key.

OP - have you managed to sort it out , sounds like a transponder issue or receiver which is the bit around the ignition barrel ?
Do you get a click sound when you put the key in or lay it on top of the ignition barrel ? as above, a low battery can also cause this .what diagnostics are you using, I’m not familiar with that fault , what section of the vehicle is the fault under as in engine, anti theft etc ? Is there a code with the fault ?
